I know, I know... But hear me out!
While in Kentucky, I got pretty bored from time to time. But! As a massive America's Next Top Model Fan, I quickly became friends with the Oxygen channel. Throughout the DAYS of ANTM marathons, I would, of course, see countless commercials for all of Oxygen's great TV shows. Dance that A** off, Snapped, Captured, and, well... Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
"Tori and Dean? Who are they?" My first impression was nothing worth blogging about, for sure. I accidentally watched an episode here and there and quickly put the pieces together realizing that Tori Spelling is the daughter of the late and great TV producer Aaron Spelling. I came to know that she was a major star of Beverly Hills 90210 as the virginal Donna Martin. After a few more episodes, I realized that I love her style, her kids, her husband, and the hilarious ways she handles life's situations.
I fell in love.
Even though Tori and I have completely different political views... and even though she's had a nose and boob job, I still feel like we have a lot in common. At least, deep inside.
She is a major drama queen in that she FREAKS out (in an "I'm worried" kind of way) about the seemingly smallest things. Just. Like. Me.
She loves her husband with all of her heart. Just. Like. Me.
She has a husband who is obsessed with fast bikes. Just. Like. Me.
She loves being a mother and cherishes her kids. Just. Like. I. Will.
She loves clothes and shopping, being the hostess with the mostest, throwing ridiculously amazing parties. Just. Like. I. Wish. I. Could.
She designs jewelry, kids clothes, and writes books. *Now I'm getting teary-eyed*
She says,
"I want to be a stay at home mom. I want to run an empire."
I feel that way too, in a way. I'd love to have a successful career, but struggle with it, just as she does, because I would never want to miss one second of my kids' lives.
She is hilarious.
And she's GENUINE.
Seriously guys...
who wouldn't love someone who had a book-launch party laced with black and Kelly green? WHO?

Love her!!! I totally get what you're saying. I think its incredible how down to earth she and Dean are even though they're in the midst of Hollywood. They've seemed to escape the reality show curse too. Hopefully their marriage can remain strong. Of course they seem to have more in common than other couples have. I think they are some of the cutes parents too. Fun post!

I have seen their show from time to time and I am impressed with how much they put each other and their family first. I agree with you that I don't always condone their choices, but it's kind of fun to be a fly on the wall in their lives. I kind of crush on Dean and how doting he is to the kids. :) Glad my husband is that way, too!
