Home is where the heart is...

So...

Today Jed and I canceled our contract for the condo we wanted to buy. I guess we don't have a real reason besides it just started to feel like the wrong choice for us. Really really wrong.

We were thinking about moving to a 2 bed/1 bath with washer and dryer and pretty updated apt in our ward... but they just bumped up the rent, and we don't want to go up $250 from what we pay right now right away. So for now, I guess we're staying in our disgusting death apt where we have to lug our laundry a quarter of a mile to the laundry room.

Sadness...

Some day we will have a nice home. Until then, home is where the heart is (and I guess mine is here).

It's not all bad; I just like to think of the money we save by living in an older apartment for nice things in the future.

I know it's so hard, but you'll get there! Just be glad you don't have to lug laundry AND a baby! Before you know it, you'll have a dozen kids and a big house to clean and you'll reminisce on these days as so simple. Love you!!
