A Mess

You guys.... I am such a mess right now.

I have no cell phone.
My License is expired, and I have NO CLUE when I can renew it.
Jed and I are trying to juggle one broken vehicle, and it's not working.
My little blue car's plates are expired, and the clutch is going out, and it has no insurance... so I can't drive it, even in emergencies.
My grades are slipping... FAST.
The house is a disaster.
We're waiting to hear back about that.
I'm trying to find a decent internship. but I actually haven't started trying yet because I have no phone to schedule it with and no car to get to an interview in.. and no clothes good for interviews (the one I applied for tried calling me on my disconnected number... bummer).
I can't even talk to my husband throughout the day.
I don't like my job.
I have to walk from work to school today (which... actually isn't that bad).
My hair is sickening.
I am tired ALL THE TIME.
I have to read a monster of a book by next week, and I haven't started it yet.
Money seems to be leaving a gazillion times faster than it is coming in.
And I made my husband mad at me this morning.

BUT...
Last night I helped three people by doing their taxes.
I miiight have an interview tomorrow (if I can find a vehicle to get there in... if I can find a phone to call them with... if I can buy an outfit to wear... and still.. I don't get it).
My husband and I love each other very much, and he likes his new job, which is great.
I get to see my mom in like 2 months.
I'm 21.
aaaaand Heavenly Father is always there for me. I know it.

Adrianne let me know if I can do anything for you. We only have one car, but if you are ever in a bind, let me know the day before, and if you can give me a ride to work, then you can use our car. And I don't have many nice clothes either but you are welcome to borrow what i do have! You should get a pay-as-you-go phone and only give the number to a few people so you don't rack up minutes. You've probably thought of this already.

PS, I might come in next time you are doing taxes. we need help!

Love you girl!

I love that in spite of everything that's going on, you can still look on the bright side. Sometimes as chaotic and frustrating our situations might seem, that is when we have to slow down and anchor ourselves to the gospel. I've had some rough times these past months, and I KNOW I'd be crazy and depressed all day if I didn't have that light you described. cheer up girlie :) things will get better soon!
