Spring break...
Actually, we don't have one. But Jedders and I are going to Wyoming for the weekend! We'll be spending some glorious time with Jed's fabulous sister and brother-in-law Erika and Adam! I guess they're my in-laws too. That's weird for me to say. Haha... ok! Have a great weekend!

Storytime!
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, full of excellent BBQ and beautiful fountains... two sisters enjoyed a hot and muggy summer together. They jogged each morning avoiding the millions of frog princes jumping across their path, catching glimpses of exotic birds, and working on their tans. They even ventured so far as the land inhabited by the Mormons. This adventure was taken on a large steal greyhound full of stinky people and loud talkers. Despite these less-than-perfect circumstances, these sisters enjoyed their precious time together. Once they made it back to the land of fountains, the greatest adventure.. or gift of all awaited them.
The younger sister, Adrianne, visited her dear friend Casi, who was working at the magic picture palace. This awesome building had a large screen with magically moving pictures. The best part, however, was the snacks. Candies, and sweet drinks.. nachos and pretzels, Adrianne very much liked the this magical world.
To her very surprise... one of the most amazing things of all was about to occur. Dearest Casi gave Adrianne a scrumptiously smelling black bag full of a curious treat. Puffed corn, covered in savory salt and butter fill this large [garbage] bag nearly halfway. The tantalizing aroma accompanied Ms. Adrianne the whole ride home back to her dear sister. There they tasted until the weeee hours of the morning. If that weren't enough.. the two sisters ate and ate the puffed corn magic for breakfast too. and lunch. and dinner... until there was none left to be had.
That's right. Maggie and I ate an entire black trash bag full of leftover movie theatre popcorn. YUM! This was like.. 3 years ago, but a similar experience from this weekend reminded me of this fun experience, and I had to share.

One of my favorite things in the whole world is to babysit my favorite boys! Not only do I get to laugh with them, tickle them, listen to their stories, or see their latest work of art or 1st place medal, but I get to visit for an hour or two.. or three or four... with Jordan and Mike. They are always full of wisdom and humor! LOVE love love this family!
Trevan and myself jamming out to some Rock Band!

Miracle
Why Mormons Build Temples
This just in....
In anticipation of the announced airing of temple ceremonies on an HBO soap opera, last Thursday, March 12, the Church posted a video on the Church's YouTube channel Mormon Messages titled "Why Mormons Build Temples."
What happened over the next 96 hours was nothing short of a miracle.
On Friday, March 13, the video became the #10 Most-Watched Video on YouTube. This caused the video to be featured on the main YouTube home page, which provided more exposure.
On Saturday, March 14, the video was designated as the #3 most-popular "viral" video on the Internet according to viralvideocharts.com, which described the video on that day as "spreading across the Internet like wildfire!"
On Saturday night, March 14, the Google Videos search page ranked the video as the NUMBER ONE "HOT VIDEO," highlighting it prominently on the Google Videos search page.
Millions of people everywhere have now seen and heard all about the real reasons for temples--people who would never otherwise have given it a thought.
Isn't it interesting how the Lord works?

Mass Genocide in Group Study Rooms...
Gag me and throw me in a river.
Group Projects have got to be one of the worst ideas ever.
Pros-
*Massive amounts of work are made manageable
*You kind of get to know people
Cons-
*Your partner/groupmate disappears into thin air
*Despite your multiple attempts to notify everyone in your group of a meeting, you're the only one who shows up
*You get stuck doing all the work, even though you're the youngest in the group
*You have to deal with annoying people with BAD ideas
*You actually have to spend hours on campus meeting and talking yourselves in circles
*Group projects tend to be horrifically unspecific, thus causing everyone to interpret the assignment differently.
*You want to say, "I told you so," but you don't want to offend anyone
*Clashing schedules
*Clashing interests
*Clashing social habits
*Group presentations in front of the entire class
*Competing with other groups
*Taking the blame, when you only got a disappointing grade on an aspect of the project someone else forgot to do, and you had to throw together at the last second, but no one knows it, so they think you're an idiot.
*Constant complaining tends to irritate the husband
*You like one person in the group, but not another person, so it's hard not to focus more attention to the one you actually get along with without offending the other person
*You have to deal with other people's procrastination problems (mine are bad enough)
*Empty promises
*Horrible, terrible, awful, blood-sucking, brain-shrinking, death-wishing, bad, bad, bad bad, bad group projects
And while the cons HEAVILY outweigh the pros, it's still better than doing the WHOLE thing alone.
Such a catch-22 (if I'm even using that right). GAH!
