Hello Sunshine... come into my liiiiiiife...

I'm becoming obsessed with the O.C.

for the 9,000,000,000,000th time.

I started watching the 4th season again tonight (maggie has all of the other seasons and this one is truly my favorite), and I'm already hooked. I guess this is what happens when you have no TV and are tired of studying. (I've watched all 4 seasons like 4 times...)
The music is ahhhmazing. It calms my soul. I changed my entire playlist to host O.C. songs. I also made it so you have to press play to listen... please do.
I love the quirkiness of Seth, my character love. His never-ending sources of humor amaze me, and he's into comics--that's just sexxy. I love how Summer is stunningly beautiful, yet environmentally friendly. I don't miss Marissa, but I do LOVE Taylor. Ryan is just cute. And I love the Cohens. I reeeally love watching everyone grow and change. Can I just pretend this is real life. I started crying during an episode tonight.
What is wrong with me?

I should read. Anyone know of any GREAT books (I'm talking fabulous... preferably a classic-y book... 1984, clockwork orange, Siddhartha.. you know the good stuff.. if it's superb, non-classic works too.. I'm easily amused)?

One of my New Year's resolutions was to read 5 classics i should haev read in High School It's been a great goal! I've finished "To Kill a Mockingbird" and i really enjoyed it. Right now, I'm working on "The Giver"...others on the list are Pride & Prejudice, little Women and Don Quijote.

I just finished To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf, its stream of conciousness. A good classic is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. What other books...I also found The Red Tent to be interesting, but it isn't considered a classic. I also enjoyed Beloved by Toni Morrison. It was just a tad creepy. And actually, I really enjoyed Moby Dick, but that might have been because I read it with other people who helped point out the double entendres and thus it was rather hilarious. Of course Jane Eyre by Bronte. Slaughterhouse Five was interesting, by Vonnegut. You might also want to try something by Edith Wharton, like The Age of Innocence or The House of Mirth (I really wasn't that fond of Wharton's Ethan Frome even though that is supposed to be her best one.)
I plan on becoming a librarian some day, lol, I'm chalk full of book recommendations. :)

There is nothing wrong with OC obsessions because it is my mid day break and lunch time EVERYDAY! There is nothing like a little drama to make you appreciate your rather easy going life! I have watched all the seasons about 5 times and the 4th season is MY FAVORITE!!! Enjoy your guilty pleasure and know you are not alone~!
