Jed says I need to go to the doc. Apparently he not only left once, but twice yesterday (meaning he left, came back for something, and left again). He said goodbye both times.
I still don't remember it. Something must be wrong with my brain-- it must be dried out from all the homework/projects/studying I've been doing lately!

girlfriend. I'm dealing with the same thing! My desk is RIGHT outside the door to my boss's office. Multiple times lately, I've gone into his office to ask him a question, and he's not in there. How does he sneak out without me noticing?
Sounds like you have pregnant brain. Is there something you're not telling us?
