Uncertainties

Oh hey!

Remember that one time when I had 3 weeks to find an internship (in Commercial Recreation, event planning, or anything related), with no leads, no contacts, and no motivation besides fear.

Oh wait.. that is right now. I am dying from stress. Life is full of so many uncertainties, and I don't like uncertainties. I'm a planner. I like having a plan, and knowing what is going to happen.

Right now, all I know is that I'm married, love my husband, and the church is true. That's it, pretty much.

You guys should move to Lubbock! My sil could get you an internship working with her in Rec management at the student rec center! and, most importantly, we could hang out!

PS, since I know that won't really happen, Good Luck! Things have a way of working themselves out, don't stress too much!

Girl I felt the same way before last summer. I had like one month before summer and I had no internship, no admittance to law school and no back up plans. It made me CRAZY! But of course, things worked out...they always do, even if it's at the last moment. I think sometimes the Lord does that on purpose so that when He comes through for us, we have no doubt that it was Him because it was a miracle! (Like getting me into law school the day before it started). But I know how you feel on not being able to plan anything...its SO frustrating. But I think it's good for those of us who like to control our lives to remember that we need to allow the Lord to be in control :-).

I don't know anything about it... But gentree's Mom is a caterer in Provo I think. Does that count? Or maybe that could lead to something...

I hear ya. Yesterday I just got laid off and am 12 weeks pregnant. It's a small business and my boss is a good friend now, after 4 years of working with her, but I understand her needs. But I definitely hear ya with the uncertainties. Life is crazy like that! good luck with everything!!!

im so sorry you are having problems getting an internship. I think we've all been there and its not fun. I'll keep a look out and try to think of any connections I might have.

I hate uncertainties too. That is one reason why my husband is so good for me. He doesn't let it get to him. Good luck, pay your tithing, and try not to let it get to you! Loves!!
